About Us

Welcome to

St Matthias

Established in 1959, St Matthias’ is a parish of the Diocese of Fort Worth, Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).

If you aren’t familiar with the term “Anglican,” it simply means “English.”

So, Christians in the Anglican tradition are those who live and worship as Christians always have from ancient times in the British Isles. We are the branch of the one Church established by Christ through the Apostles that quickly made its way to Britain.

Anglican churches can be found around the world, having produced notable figures like C.S. Lewis, and T.S. Eliot. The Anglican tradition has also produced great saints like King St Edward, St Thomas Becket, St Columba, Bl John Donne, and many more.

At St Matthias’, we are a tight-knit community, always ready to welcome more people into our parish family. If you want to learn more about us, please don’t hesitate to talk to a parishioner or a priest. We’d love to share more with you about our life here together.
