Our Friday Lenten Devotions

Each Friday in Lent at 7:00 pm we gather in the church to pray the Stations of the Cross, hear a meditation, and adore Our Lord in the service of Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.


The theme this year is a Meditation on The Lord's Prayer.

March 11th: Bishop Jack L. Iker ssc, Third Bishop of Fort Worth, ret.:

March 18th: Fr. John S. Kalimi, St. Vincent's Cathedral, Bedford

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven


March 25th: Bishop Keith L. Ackerman, ssc, Assisting Bishop, Diocese of Fort Worth

Give us this day our daily bread


April 1stBishop Ryan Reed ssc, the Bishop of Fort Worth

And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us


April 8th: Fr. Michael Heidt, ssc, St Mary’s Church, Hillsboro

and Our Lady of the Lake, Laguna Park

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.




Holy Week awaits!

The final week of Lent brings with it an opportunity to "enter with joy upon the contemplation of those mighty acts, whereby you have given us life and immortality."
